My Two Ladies™ The handcrafted luxury fiber art tool brand. “The good for your hands brand.” It’s more than a knitting needle. It’s more than a name. It’s a tribute to knitting and the close knit fiber arts community. It’s not just yarn and stitches, but so much more. Knitting gave me the opportunity to be part of an indescribable bond between creative fiber folks of varying age, ethnic and social backgrounds, whom would probably have never met otherwise. Our joy of creating, brings us together and creates a feeling of belonging. I wish everyone could be part of a community such as ours.
I invented My Two Ladies™ ergonomic knitting needles out of pure frustration. There had to be a better way to knit this big and bulky blanket. It was exhausting, painful and very time consuming, with either straight or circular needles. While at the studio, an idea popped into my head. I grabbed some knitting tools and supplies, made some modifications, and started knitting quickly and effortlessly. I could knit for hours without stress and pain. Now fiber artists with arthritis or hand/wrist problems are able to knit, quicker, longer and with less stress. It is life changing for those that had to give up their craft. “How is it no one ever thought of this?”
Well I thought of it, I patented it, I manufactured it, and almost a year later, My Two Ladies™ Adjustable Straight Knitting Needle System became available for all to enjoy. They are beautiful, functional and a pleasure to work with. I hope My Two Ladies™ brings as much joy to you as it has to me. Go to our tutorial and see the magic.
