Welcome! I’m Emily and I’m a writer and artist excited to share my work with you. I do a little of everything, but for this event, my booth is focused on my small art business Inkeometry. I use ink pens and watercolor to create abstract art that resonates as certain objects or ideas. Much of my work revolves around themes of space, planets, vastness, and smallness. I seek to explore what it means to be part of this universe. Please browse my work and if anything speaks to you, don’t hesitate to ask about it! Any image you see here or on any of my social media can be made into a print, even if the original has already sold. Thank you for supporting me and enjoy your holiday shopping!

Polarity

Inspiration for this piece comes from my experiences traveling. I wanted to create a piece that captured and contrasted the intense difference between the energies of different places. The upper circle is busier and more active, filled with life and energy. The smaller circle is quieter and more contemplative, simple and minimalist.

This is an original ink and watercolor illustration on 8.5in x 11in artisan paper, available on Etsy.

Frost

Frost

This piece was inspired by an ice storm from last year, where icicles made everything look like glass. I wanted it to convey beauty within cold, within loss, and within loneliness.

This is available as an 8x10 print via Etsy, a private message through Instagram or Facebook, or directly through me at emily.teitsworth@gmail.com

Avalanche

This is one of the many pendants I have available on my Etsy. The perfect gift for a loved one this holiday season! Most of my popular designs are available. This design is inspired by the downward pull of gravity. Movement in life, however big, is something to be proud of. Even if it feels like backward movement, any is better than staying stagnant.

This and other pendants available on Etsy, also available for custom work

Gold

This is a smaller piece, inspired by the discovery of small things. Unexpected things like stones with crystals, arrowheads, and old stairways lost in the woods.

This is a 4inchx5inch original available on Etsy

Fragments

If you need smaller gifts for the holidays, this is it! These pins are based on my piece “Fragments”. This piece was created to convey the idea of breaking and getting out back together. We all fall at some point. What matters is picking up the pieces, standing up, and keeping on our path.

There are several pin designs available on my Etsy

Divide

This piece is a personification of separation. There are beautiful things in the dark, if you can just make it through to the other side.

Equilateral

Mathematics. Art. They are the same, they just look different on the outside. This piece brings together the abstract ideas of creativity vs. logic. Both need space to grow, and both are equally as important to learn and apply in our lives.

Four Seasons

The four seasons inspired me for this one. Specifically, the changing of the leaves and the cycle that trees experience during each time of year. Nature is a crafty, wonderous thing, and I wanted to celebrate it.

This is a wall hanging, framed and ready to be shipped via Etsy
